Welcome to Enfield Skip Hire. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services. By hiring a skip from us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
- Service Provider: Enfield Skip Hire and its representatives.
- Customer: Any individual or entity hiring a skip from the Service Provider.
- Skip: The container provided for waste disposal.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1 Booking
Bookings can be made via our website or by contacting our customer service team. Upon successful booking, the Customer will receive a confirmation email detailing the skip hire agreement.
2.2 Payment
Payments must be made in full upon booking confirmation. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards and bank transfers. All prices are subject to change without prior notice, but the rate applicable at the time of booking will be honored.
3. Delivery and Collection
The skip will be delivered to the agreed-upon location on the scheduled date. Customers are responsible for ensuring clear and safe access for delivery and collection. Delays caused by inadequate access may incur additional charges.
4. Load Capacity
Customers must not exceed the load capacity of the skip. Overloading can result in skip collapse, damage, or personal injury. Any additional weight beyond the agreed limit will incur extra charges.
5. Permissible Waste
Only non-hazardous, non-prohibited waste is allowed in the skip. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
- Asbestos-containing materials
- Explosives or flammable substances
- Chemical solvents
- Medical waste
- Electrical appliances
Disposing of prohibited items will result in the Customer bearing all related costs and potential legal consequences.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the skip is placed in a suitable location.
- Not tampering with the skip's structure or contents.
- Adhering to the agreed-upon rental period.
- Notifying the Service Provider of any issues or damages promptly.
7. Service Provider Rights
- Right to refuse service if terms are violated.
- Right to inspect skip contents upon collection.
- Right to charge for any additional services or excess weight.
8. Liability
Enfield Skip Hire is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of our services, except where caused by our negligence or misconduct. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the use of the skip does not infringe upon any laws or regulations.
9. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel their booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery without penalty. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the delivery time may incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the booking cost.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Amendments
Enfield Skip Hire reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes via email or through our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and Enfield Skip Hire regarding the use of our services, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
14. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
15. Force Majeure
Enfield Skip Hire shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of Nature, government actions, or any other cause beyond its reasonable control.
